Turning hobby into hustle meant learning prices that don’t cry when you charge them, building a tiny online shop that looks like it had a personality rather than an existential crisis, and finding customers who appreciate the slightly wonky charm of handmade things — and, miraculously, my wife’s sanity was saved….almost. The projects found homes, and I discovered that turning passion into profit is mostly about persistence, a splash of branding, and an unhealthy love of caffeine.
